Another Great Cook Book!

My Dad recently gave me another great cook book.... It is called Feeding The Whole Family by Cynthia Lair. I love this cook book mostly because the whole first section talks about how to feed your whole family -baby, young children and their parents healthily. And then there are the recipes which are great! There is something for everyone including a whole section on how to make healthy lunchboxes! Its great and so far I have loved everything I have tried out of here... so THANKS Dad-I love it!

Pumpkin Carving Extravaganza!

On Friday night we carved pumpkins with our friends Kerri and Eldad. Well actually, Kerri and I carved pumpkins while the guys watched Warren Miller videos! Ha ha! It was so much fun! I made a big pot of chili and Kerri brought the corn bread and then we roasted the seeds when we were done carving. ( My favorite part!) BAM joined in on the fun while Sweetness entertained all of us with her crazy running around and screaming ( A new thing she has discovered).

Horay For Fall!

A couple weeks ago we enjoyed a sunny but chilly Sunday afternoon at a local pumpkin patch with our friends Kerri and Eldad. We had so much fun and Sweetness really enjoyed playing in the patch. Later we used a golf cart to tour the farm. They had a huge apple orchard and then a gift shop at the end where we sat and ate yummy caramel apples. BAM was asleep as soon as the golf cart started moving...

5 Generations

A 5 generation picture! WOW! I am pleased to introduce Honey Buns's Mom, Grandfather, and Great Grandmother. We had a wonderful visit with Honey Bun's family (I am embarrassed to say this was taken about a month ago and I am just now getting around to putting it on here! )while they were in town. They got to meet BAM for the first time and he got lots of holding time in that evening mean while Sweetness showed us all how much energy she has while running around Grandma's house getting into anything she could get her hands on. :) What a fun time spent with a wonderful family!

A Great Great Lady
