Happy New Year!

From our family to yours, we wish you all a Happy New Year! Love the Miller's.

My Baby All Grown Up!

Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen, that is my daughter talking on her cell phone while driving her bike!

A Very Merry Christmas!

We had a wonderful, busy, and fun packed Christmas this year! On Christmas Eve Honey Buns and I wrapped each of the gifts we had for the kids and for eachother, stuffed stockings and placed it all under the tree in perfect form. In recent years I have found myself remembering the feeling of waking up on Christmas morning as a kid (about 4 am! ) and running out to see what Santa had left me under the tree. Well, I have to say I thought that nothing could ever top that feeling until this year when we got to see Madicakes's expression when she saw the tree on Christmas morning... all lit with sparkling lights and lots of gifts packed underneath... and of course the new bike santa left for her.... it is a wonderful feeling to know how lucky we are to have family.

Snow Day!

Yay! Sweetness experienced a snow day! It was so fun to take her out in the snow and let her play. She was so excited, she didn't want to come in even though we were out for an hour or so!

Left the Homestead

So come Thursday morning, Honey Buns got off work early due to the weather and we decided to pack up the kiddos and head into town and stay at Mom and Jim's house for a couple days. It was nice to get out of the house and see some family and see the snowy town. Here is Lake Whatcom all pretty and snowy. I love it and wish that it would snow more and stay around longer! :)

Winter Wonderland

It started snowing at our place on Wednesday evening... Yay! We love it! The snow always reminds Honey Buns and I of our year in Tahoe. This is a picture of our "outdoor" tree. We bought a fake tree a couple years ago, but decided we want the kiddos to still experience the whole "chopping down your own tree" thing so we, meaning Honey Buns cut down this tree on his Dad's property. He brought it home in the middle of a rain storm and put lights on it in the dark. It looks great at night, but during the day you can see the mangled mess of lights. Its great, and we love it! Sweetness gets excited every evening when the lights come on.
